Marilyn is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada.  As an early teen, her parents saw the wisdom
of moving their family away from city life to a quieter life.  This found them in central Louisiana.

Marilyn received her degree from Southwestern Adventist University
and has spent the past 30 years as a Registered Nurse specializing in Critical
Care.  As she has worked in that area,
her heart has been drawn to the deep needs of humanity.  She has watched people struggle through
illness and some through to death.

Her passion for women’s ministry is what drives her
heart.  She has a desire to inspire women
toward a closer walk with God.  She
believes that as women come together on a sure and true foundation, things
begin to happen.  As they draw upon the
experiences of those who have gone before, women are inspired with the thought
that they can walk through.

Marilyn is married to her dear husband for the past 25
years.  He has encouraged her to move
upon her thoughts and inspirations.  She
is also the mother of two grown daughters.
She spent 12 years homeschooling which has proven to be a personal
growth journey for her.

Her present duties include serving as a pastoral care
assistant in the local church congregation,  service as part of the local women’s ministry
at her church and director of A Gathering of Friends Ministries.
